- Upon arrival in the Russian Federation, a foreign citizen must register at the place of residence within 7 days of crossing the border.
- Without migration registration, you can stay in the Russian Federation for 90 days (citizens of Ukraine and Belarus) / 30 days (citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia) / 15 days (citizens of Tajikistan) / 7 days (all other countries). Before the end of this period, a foreign citizen must register or leave the Russian Federation. Staying in the Russian Federation without registration is considered ILLEGAL.
- To register, a foreign citizen must provide the following documents to the Department of International Cooperation (4 Voroshilova Street, Room 168) on the day of arrival or the next business day:
- passport;
- migration card;
- Residential Lease Agreement for the Student Dormitory of FSBEI HE “CSU”.
If a foreign citizen does not live in the student dormitory, the owner of the residential property is responsible for registering the foreign citizen.
If you cross the Russian border, your registration is canceled!!!
- In order to extend your registration, you must contact the Department of International Cooperation at least 10 business days before the end of your registration period.
- You must inform us of your departure in advance by email international@csu.ru / calling +7 351 799-72-16 / sending a message on VK.
- Report to the Department of International Cooperation the next business day if:
- you are flying to another country (provide a copy of your ticket);
- you are leaving for another city in the Russian Federation;
- you are spending the night in a hotel/hostel in Chelyabinsk;
- you have been in the hospital.
